The JC Foundation Trust was formed back in 2018 when our Founder, Jay Charara, saw a gap in the existing provisions made to local neighbourhoods essentially in terms of access to public services for all..
He wanted to make the services freely available to all communities regardless of faith, background, or ability with no discrimination at all.
JC Foundation Trust relies on the goodwill of our volunteers who have hundreds of years of communal service and dedication to community causes.
Our education and prevention work is funded by a combination of donations and grants. For example, our back to work initiative was supported by the European Social Fund, our cost of living and wellbeing programme has been supported by the Aviva community Fund, Salford Bury Councils and has now received funding directed through the Greater Manchester Combined Authority and the Gambling Commission for the next 18 months .
We are grateful to all our grant givers and donors as they enable us to reach over 60,000 people per year through our online and offline networks to per year with our vital education and prevention work.
Our Mission here at the JC Foundation Trust is to provide a platform for the local community and a social voice, when it comes to important issues such as Disability, Antisemitism, Discrimination Fairness and Ethics.
Our vision and overall direction is to manifest in the local neighbourhood a sense of cohesiveness, solidarity and harmony for all our communities.
